PUBLIC HEARINGS REGARDING THE 2008-09 BUDGET

At the request of the Governor, the Division of Budget held a series of public hearings to present the challenges facing us in the upcoming budget and to obtain public input to assist us in making budget decisions. The public was invited to participate in one of the following ways:

• Submitting comments online: Those individuals wishing to provide comments, but unable to attend one of the sessions, may send comments to BudgetHearing@budget.state.ny.us.
• Viewing a live or on-demand webcast: The public can watch the proceedings via an internet webcast.
• Reading Budget Director Paul Francis’ presentation (PDF) about the 2008-2009 Budget Outlook.
