Summary

DMNA will achieve its savings target through the delayed purchase of one boat for the Naval Militia, a realignment of staff that results in the elimination of five positions over two years, reductions in support for the Military Museum in Saratoga and the New York Guard, energy conservation initiatives, reductions in planned equipment purchases, and increased rental rates for armories.

SEMO achieves its savings target through controlling vacancies and minimizing overtime. It will also reduce employee travel and consolidate software licensing.
