Summary

The Department of Civil Service’s Financial Management Plan achieves its savings target by merging the responsibilities of its Planning and Training Division into other divisions to reduce three positions by attrition; eliminating a consultant contract; managing attrition and rehiring to ensure mission critical functions are maintained; and imposing additional restrictions on travel, equipment, furniture purchases, and vehicle rental costs. In addition, the Agency will reduce information technology expenditures within its special revenue programs.
