Summary

The Department of Agriculture and Markets Financial Management Plan achieves its savings target by eliminating 5 positions and leaving vacancies open in non-critical functions, such as dairy statistics, market order audit, and farm products inspection. In addition, the Department will eliminate its summer internship program, and reduce non-personal service spending in areas such as printing, supplies, technology, equipment, training, travel and conferences.
