Budget Highlights

The Reserve for Federal Audit Disallowances provides authority to the General Fund in the event of a reduction in available Federal grant awards resulting from disallowances. This reserve is available to provide State funding to cover unusual instances in which legitimate expenditures are determined to be ineligible for Federal reimbursement. The FY 2022 Executive Budget recommends a $500 million appropriation.
