Budget Highlights

The State enacted Special Pay Bill appropriations totaling $766.46 million to cover the cost of general salary increases, Labor Management Committee increases, and associated fringe benefit increases resulting from the agreements with Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA), Public Employees Federation (PEF), Management/Confidential (M/C), and Graduate Student Employees Union (GSEU). These appropriations cover costs accrued during FYs 2017 & 2018.

DC-37 (Rent Regulation Services Unit) and the State have reached a deal comparable to that reached with CSEA, which was recently ratified by its membership. Additional appropriation will be enacted during the 2018 legislative session.
