Budget Highlights

The Special Federal Emergency Appropriation provides authority for the disbursement of funds received from the Federal government in the event of an unanticipated emergency affecting the State of New York, such as a natural disaster. The 2012-13 Executive Budget recommends an appropriation consistent with the prior year.

The Executive Budget recommends a $1 billion appropriation.
