Budget Highlights

The Special Emergency Appropriation provides authority for the disbursement of additional State Funds in the event of an unanticipated emergency affecting the State of New York, such as a natural disaster. The 2012-13 Executive Budget recommends an appropriation consistent with the prior year.

The Executive Budget recommends $100 million for the Department. This is no change from the 2011-12 budget.
